Student Councils

The Student Council at IIAM ensures the learning experience of the students is coupled with adequate amount of extracurricular activities. It seeks to create an all round exposure for the students, giving them adequate impetus to excel in various activities. The mission of Student council at IIAM is to nurture and enhance the reputation of the Institute within the Student fraternity, corporate world and the Society in general. The Council of Students is the representative student body which acts as the interface between the students and the management.

How is the committee chosen? The week long orientation program at IIAM has a short session right after the induction ceremony every year to introduce the various committees that are functional in the college. After having learnt each committee’s mandate, the students are asked to list down the committees that  they are keen on being a part of.

Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Now here comes the catch, in a PGDM program nothing comes easy, right from gaining admission into the college of our choice, to surviving the rigorous schedule, to finally getting placed in one’s ‘dream’ company. The selection procedure for these committees are at par with or maybe even more intense than what a student has to go through to be a part of IIAM. Only the best of the lot are made members of the council.
